Synthesis and study of the effect of uracil and theophylline derivatives on the glucose transport into rat hepatic cells

A series of uracil and theophylline derivatives was synthesized. 4-Amino-1,3-dimethyl-5-non-anoylaminouracil displayed the most pronounced effect of thein vitro stimulation of the 2-deoxyglucose transport into hepatic rat cells.
