Child Abuse by Percutaneous Insertion of Sewing Needles
Lukefahr et al report a case of factitious insertion of sewing needles and tacks into a child's feet and perineum. The child had several associated findings of physical abuse, and the foreign bodies were discovered on a radiographic skeletal survey.
