Description
Summary:In the presented paper, model of the Internet-of-Things node for Home Area Network (HAN) in Smart Grid (SG) is proposed. The node is supposed to be a universal part of the customer's local infrastructure. It can connect different sensors that can be substituted further according to the customer's demands. This capability is ensured by the proposed configuration description scheme that locates within the node. In comparison with known solutions, the proposed approach does not require reprogramming device in case of its function has been changed. Many nodes can connect to the network simultaneously, providing scalable solution for information and control systems in HAN within SG. The developed node prototype implements statement proposed in this work. The proposed model brings to the system advantages of such non-functional features as flexibility, ease of configuration changes without reprogramming node device. Test node implemented according to the claimed theoretical statements can work with different sensors without programming node components.
