Magnesium global development: Outcomes from the TMS 2007 annual meeting

New interest is arising in the use of magnesium in automotive body applications. Currently there are no adequate magnesium wrought alloys (sheet, extrusion) or magnesium structural casting alloys of sufficiently high ductility to meet the requirements of automotive body applications.
