Summary:	Prospects for increased natural gas throughput on its Southeast Texas pipeline forced Aquila Gas Pipeline Corp., to add 31 high-speed engine/compressor sets. Successful horizontal drilling in the giddings Austin Chalk Trend prompted the growth in volumes. The equipment has effectively helped Aquila quadruple its gas-gathering volume in four years. In addition, the low-emission engines meet strict air-quality standards imposed in the region.
