Description
Summary:This work shows the effectiveness of using biocomposites based on nonwoven fibrous materials for the treatment of cancer. Polyhydroxybutyrate nonwoven materials were obtained by electrospinning. Hydroxyapatite was introduced into the interior of the fibers, and a porous film was created on the surface of the nonwoven material. Both the types of matrices included the anticancer drug endoxan. It was shown that the fiber-based matrices have a low endoxan release rate, while the film-coated matrices are characterized by a high rate of endoxan release.
