Description
Summary:In this work, an Internet of Things (IoT) based new Smart Shopping Centre has been proposed using RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) system which aims at assisting the customer while shopping and saving the time and energy spent during it, avoiding the huge rush and long queues. The aim is to simplify and accelerate the process by the use of RFID tags on each product and a device consisting of a Microcontroller, RFID Reader, and Android application connected to the microcontroller using a Bluetooth module. Thus, the proposed work reduces the shopping time of customer by finding the products and waiting at the end in long queues for bill generation and bill payment.
