Description
Summary:Recently, most digital capture devices have the single image sensor such as CCD and CMOS sensor with a color filter array (CFA), which is Bayer pattern. To reconstruct a full color image, missing elements for each channel are estimated from neighboring pixels in inter, intra, or both channels. This processing is called interpolation or demosaicing (Demosaicking). In this paper, we presents the improved demosaicking method based on the multi-scale edge-directed filter. Specially, this method correct the demosaicking error in the refinement step. We demonstrated the good demosaicking performance in experimental results.
