Summary: | The article is devoted to the study of the influence of turbulent models on various processes in nature and technology. The paper presents the results of applying the standard one-parameter turbulence model SA, two-parameter turbulence model SST and three-parameter turbulence model v2-f in the Comsol Multiphysics 6.1 software package for the problem of an axisymmetric separated boundary layer. These results are then compared with experimental data from the NASA TMR database. Analysis of the results obtained shows that the conclusions obtained using various turbulent models are different, despite the unique formulation of the problem. This study makes a significant contribution to the field of numerical modeling of turbulent phenomena and serves as a basis for further developments in engineering practice and scientific research. |
