Summary: | Similar to company safety and health policies, keeping faculty members and researchers working at universities physically and mentally safe as well as healthy is essential. Although many efforts are underway in companies regarding safety, in universities, each faculty member maintains an independent research laboratory, making it difficult to manage the working environment. Specifically, some companies prohibit single-person overtime from the perspective of accident prevention; however at universities, many employees work alone conducting research activities in a lab or the instructor's office. Thus, it is important to manage safety and health to oversee conditions and detect accidents such as loss of consciousness at an early stage. To this end, we propose a method that uses an indoor mobile robot to check the condition of the room, further verifying feasibility and reporting the results. |
