Description
Summary:A procedure, developed for quantitative estimation of peptides in protein free blood serum, involved registration of products formed after reaction of peptide amino groups with o-phthalic aldehyde. The procedure developed was 50-100-fold more sensitive than spectrophotometry. Content of peptides in blood was altered depending on the steps of traumatic disease development. The concentration of peptides correlated with the composition of proteins in the serum.
