Summary: | Left ventricular noncompaction is a relatively newly defined disorder of the endomyocardium characterized by prominent ventricular trabeculations and deep intertrabecular recesses. It is important that clinician can recognise and differentiate this condition from other forms of cardiomyopathy as treatment and prognosis may differ significantly. We report two cases of left ventricular non-compaction in the emergency department with different forms of presentations. |
