Description
Summary:The integration of unpiloted aircraft systems (drones) in Russia’s airspace is currently under careful scrutiny. Correspondingly, attention has been focused on the Russian regulatory framework for drone use. The essential elements of that framework are analyzed, and the best organization of safe drone flight is considered, along with issues of certification and operator training. On that basis, proposals are made for improvements in the framework and its harmonization with international standards regarding drone development, production and use.
