Description
Summary:Recently, home automation has become more and more popular. Due to the network's simplicity and comparable accessibility, the necessity for network automation is increasing and has reached its apex recently. The integration of Augmented Reality (AR) technology with Internet of Things (IoT) devices has revolutionized home automation by providing an intuitive and immersive user interface. Recent advancements in this domain have shown great promise, yet they are accompanied by a set of significant challenges. By addressing the challenges such as Voice Control Integration, Data Processing, Security and Privacy, and Integration with IoT Devices and harnessing recent techniques, the proposed AR home automation system aims to enhance user experience, streamline control, and provide a secure and efficient smart home environment. The AR Switch is a unique device that allows users to control their home appliances through the use of augmented reality (AR). Users can access a virtual interface by merely pointing their smartphone or tablet at an appliance, allowing them to turn the appliance on or off, alter its settings, and check its status. The AR Switch is intended to be simple to use and accessible to a wide range of users, including people with disabilities or limited mobility. With the aid of Augmented Reality technology, complicated activities can be completed quickly and easily. This work will include a 30% GUI interface and a 70% practical component.
