Refractive and gyrotropic properties of crystals under inhomogeneous influences
A symmetry-tensory analysis of refractive and gyrotropic properties in crystals is presented. The influence of diverse actions, experimental portrayals and investigations of piezooptical and torsion-gyrational effects, which appear upon twisting of LiNbO sub(3) crystals, is considered.
