Description
Summary:The most typical scenarios for collisions with bycyclists have been established. The weather and road conditions of such accidents for countries with cold climates have been identified. 5 types of test scenarios are proposed to assess the fault tolerance of the system. Test scenarios include testing the failure tolerance of the automatic emergency braking systems (AEBS) in good and poor lighting, on dry and wet asphalt concrete pavement. The AEBS fault tolerance assessment system includes weight coefficients for individual types of tests. An experimental study of the failure-tolerance of the AEBS of the Nissan Pathfinder R53 was carried out at the central scientific research automobile and automotive engine institute (NAMI) automobile test site. A movable mock-up of a bycyclist was used in the tests. To record test data, VN1630 and VN5620 equipment units from Vector Informatik GmbH were used. A graphical analysis of the functioning of the automatic braking system at the stage of automatic braking is presented.
