Synthesis of Dihydroquinoline-Based Derivatives of Fluorescent Rhodamine Dyes for Nucleic Acid Analysis by a Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction

An optimized synthesis scheme for the dihydroquinoline-based derivatives of xanthene fluorescent dye has been developed. For the first time, their use as effective fluorophores in hybridization probes for real-time PCR has been demonstrated with the detection on an individual spectral channel.
