Description
Summary:Described construction of a traffic simulator as an evaluation tool that contains each vehicle characteristics, driver characteristics, environment information and so on. In this study, a basic design for the traffic simulator is shown as the first step of the research. A risk model is used as the driver model. The validity of the risk model is verified by experiment and simulation of 45-degree turn course. The course following simulation of a curved road is performed. The interaction among vehicles is examined by braking simulation.
