The development of a “green” production process of a plant growth regulator, N,N-di(2-hydroxyethyl)-N,N-dimethylammonium dimethyl phosphate

Description
Summary:A zero-waste, environmentally friendly production process of a plant growth regulator, N,N-di(2-hydroxyethyl)-N,N-dimethylammonium dimethyl phosphate, has been developed which makes it possible to obtain the target product in a yield of up to 99.8%. The developed process has been successfully scaled up from the laboratory scale to pilot and further industrial scales. [Display omitted] •A “green” production process of N,N-di(2-hydroxyethyl)-N,N-dimethylammonium dimethyl phosphate has been developed.•The developed technology leads to a high-quality target product in a near-quantitative yield.•The developed zero-waste technology allowed producing of about 400 kg of the ready to use high-quality commercial product.
