Summary:Silica-coated magnetic NiFe 2 O 4 nanoparticles-supported H 14 [NaP 5 W 30 O 110 ] (NiFe 2 O 4 @SiO 2 -H 14 [NaP 5 W 30 O 110 ]) was successfully synthesized and shown to be a versatile and highly efficient heterogeneous catalyst for one-pot multicomponent synthesis of 1,4-dihydropyridine derivatives under solvent-free condition. The synthesized catalyst can be magnetically recovered and reused four times without significant loss in catalytic efficiency.
