Automated Systems for Real-Time Registration of Neutron Fluence with Energies Higher Than 0.1 MeV for Radiation Resistance Testing

The operating principle of two automated systems for real-time registration of the fluence of neutrons with energies higher than 0.1 MeV is considered. The first system is based on recording the neutron flux density using fission chambers with threshold radiators. The second is based on using silico...

Description
Summary:The operating principle of two automated systems for real-time registration of the fluence of neutrons with energies higher than 0.1 MeV is considered. The first system is based on recording the neutron flux density using fission chambers with threshold radiators. The second is based on using silicon transistors as detectors and allowing for the dependence of their current amplification factor on the neutron fluence.
