Description
Summary:The laboratory of applied radar- and optical systems (LaROS) from the Trier University of Applied Sciences works on different methods to detect the breathing- and heart beat of a patient without any sensors which must be attached on the patients body. Over the years, the contactless measurement of vital signs becomes a new state of the art. For the verification of such new contactless systems, a test bench is essential for the system validation. Therefore, an electromotive dummy was developed for the verification of our new designed radar frontends and data acquisition systems. Specially, the simulation of an infant will be discussed in this paper.
