Description
Summary:First determination of dynamic spectra of the Stokes parameters for the AKR are reported. Frequent appearance of the L‐O mode of AKR sometimes as intense as the R‐X one, and sporadically even more intense than that was observed in the dayside magnetosphere. Existence of dayside sources of AKR is inferred from discussion of their visibility from the s/c orbiting on the dayside, taking into account a limited opening angle of the AKR emission cone. The domination of the R‐X wave mode is confirmed for the nightside observations.
