Description
Summary:This work Proposes a GPS systems and a microcontroller (ESP 32-S) together to keep track of Alzheimer's patients in real time so they can be safe when they leave the house. With the Neo-6M GPS sensor, the current latitude and longitude of the patient will be communicated to the caregiver. The distance of the patient from the caretaker is calculated based on the latitude and longitude and is shown on the cloud dashboard. The dosage and name of the medicine are sent as a reminder to the device. The device also detects the patient's temperature and pulse rate and displays it on the LCD of the device i.e. SSD1306 with the help of LM35 and the MAX30102 sensor respectively. It also displays the oxygen levels of the patient using MAX30102 sensor. In case of a collapse of the patient, the fall is detected using the MPU-6050 sensor and the caretaker will be alerted through a message and emergency care can be addressed.
