Wireless indoor networks planning considering QoE metrics on multimedia applications

Description
Summary:This work aims to evaluate a methodology for planning communications systems on indoor environments. Measurement campaigns were carried out in order to collect data on some QoE (Quality of Experience) metrics, namely, PSNR (Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio), VQM (Video Quality Metric) and SSIM (Structural Similarity Index). The methodology relates these metrics values to the distance from the AP (Access Point). The proposed methodology showed good results on evaluating video services on an indoor environment, compared to some literature models.
