Description
Summary:The paper presents an overview of methods of decomposition of complex signals in time and frequency domains. The problem of the resolution of atomic functions under the conditional impossibility to obtain high values of the resolution at the same time and frequency is analysed. The question of the fundamental possibility of synthesis of signals of complex shape by the method of their decomposition into atomic functions for different methods of signal decomposition is investigated. Studies of the information capacity of complex signals generated based on frequency-time analysis, using different methods of decomposition and the Renyi integral index. As an example, we consider a complex signal generated by the modified Weierstrass function, for which numerical calculations of the information capacity of the signal.
