Description
Summary:Optimized reconfigurable cell array (ORCA), which can support larger data path designs on a nibble basis, without decreasing its support for random logic control applications. This can be implemented by providing a programmable function unit that is equally adapted to environmental conditions. The routing structure is designed so that it can allow nibble of data to be moved around the chip efficiently, without interrupting other individual connections that characterize based on high logic data paths. ORCA-Top chip is implemented using various CMOS technologies. Based on the specifications of ORCA-Top, RTL logic is written and converted to gate-level netlist by synthesizing the RTL logic. In this review paper, the various ORCA architecture implementations has been discussed.
