Description
Summary:The Internet of Things (IoT) proliferation has stimulated Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) research due to their ability to remotely monitor environments using distributed sensors. These sensors often deployed in large numbers in harsh conditions and have limited battery power. It takes a significant energy to transmit data directly from a sensor node to a central Base Station (BS). Energy consumption can be reduced through clustered WSNs. Selecting an energy-efficient Cluster Head (CH) is crucial, as this task is known to be computationally complex. Dynamic Cluster Head selection is a critical decision-making approach to optimize routing and minimize energy consumption. A novel optimization-based routing algorithm is proposed to decrease the energy consumption of nodes in network. This system incorporates the Improved Adaptive Remora Optimization Algorithm (IAROA) for Cluster Head selection, allowing for a multi-function optimization process. The performance of the proposed technique is evaluated with the help of energy consumption. The suggested method is compared with LEACH and ESMR Protocols.
