Description
Summary:To fulfill the requirements for higher availability and maintainability of the rolling stock remote train access is a important means e.g. for sending diagnostic data to the ground as well as updating train data from the ground. A problem is always to adapt the train to ground interface to the back-office solutions of the different operators. This paper describes a possible solution for a generic train access interface at the ground side which allows connecting train manufacturers standard applications as well as customer's specific back-office applications.
