Description
Summary:Dynamic properties of liquid molecules in the solution of modified β-cyclodextrin (β-CD) in dimethylformamide (DMF) were studied by quasi-elastic neutron scattering. Measurements of the QENS spectra were performed at room temperature using a multidetector time-of-flight spectrometer. It was shown that the addition of salts to β-CD-DMF solutions leads to decreasing total self diffusion coefficient in comparison with solutions without salts and to the pumping of single-particle diffuse modes into collective ones that can denote complex forming in such systems.
