Description
Summary:In this research, the use of the visual sensor in the Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) environment aims to monitoring system for counting people in a room. Raspberry Pi 3 platform is used as an image processing and wireless communication system. The results of image processing and calculation performed by Raspberry Pi 3 are sent to the web server to be disseminated on the internet. From the test results, the system is able to distinguish between people who are entering or leaving the room by performing image processing using background subtraction, morphological transformation, and calculating the contour area of the image. From the results of image processing, the number of people in the room can be derived and the system can deliver it to the web server. The test parameters are also described in this research.
