Summary:This article presents the results of scientific research on the growing juveniles and the rearing fingerlings of pikeperch in cages. The conditions for growing larvae, juveniles, and fingerlings of pikeperch are described, and the dynamics of hydrochemical indicators of temperature, active reaction of the aquatic environment, oxygen content in water, and the state of the natural food supply in the experimental pond are presented. The data of a comparative analysis of fish-cultivation and biological indicators for three stages of growing larvae, juveniles and six stages of growing fingerlings of pikeperch in cages are presented. Prospective planting densities of fish planting material for pikeperch have been determined. The data on the use of live and artificial feed for feeding pikeperch are presented.
