Influence of solution flow rate on the properties of SnS2 films prepared by ultrasonic spray

In this work, thin films of tin disulfide (SnS2) have been deposited by ultrasonic spray on glass substrate at 300°C. The influence of flow rate (25 – 60ml/h) on the crystal structure, optical and electrical properties was determined by X-ray diffraction, UV spectroscopy visible and four-points. X-r...

Description
Summary:In this work, thin films of tin disulfide (SnS2) have been deposited by ultrasonic spray on glass substrate at 300°C. The influence of flow rate (25 – 60ml/h) on the crystal structure, optical and electrical properties was determined by X-ray diffraction, UV spectroscopy visible and four-points. X-ray diffraction studies indicate that films have a hexagonal structure with preferential plan (001). The grain size, lattice constants and strain in films were calculated. The studies on the optical properties show that the direct band gap value ranged from 2.70 to 2.97eV and the film deposited at 25ml/h exhibits the largest transmittance in the visible region. The SnS2 films showed average electrical resistivity of 5.67×10-4Ωcm.
