Summary: | The mechanisms of the gastroprotective effect of well-known drugs (plantaglucid, befungin, plantain juice), extractions of birch bark (Betula pendula Roth,) and burdock seeds (Arctium tomentosum Mill.) on various links of gastric ulcer pathogenesis were compared. Phytopreparations were found to have a variety of effects on gastric secretion in rats. Differences in their action on the smooth muscles of the stomach and intestine were detected. |
