Description
Summary:In recent days, the increased growth of electricity consumption with conventional and also advanced appliance cause environmental issues and affects the community. By improving energy efficient techniques helps to deal with the challenging environmental issues. More than two-thirds of industrial consumption is utilized by electric motors. Brushless DC (BLDC) motors are the most suitable for household appliances because of their low horsepower controlling features such as noiseless operation, wide speed range, and gives high efficiency with low maintenance. It is because the brushes are used for commutation in conventional DC motors are getting replaced with electronic commutation. This has to be maintained properly because of its high cost. So there are so many control methods are implemented. In existing system, a zeta converter with PI control method is used. In this proposed system, a new topology of ZETA converter with switched inductor is used to improve the power quality of system than the previous system and the system is monitored and controlled using closed loop feedback system to improve the efficiency of the motor using PIC controller.
