Description
Summary:Each organizational diagnosis its to a practice which implies to identify ideal contexts and situations to reconstruct reality in a functional way. Organizational diagnosis is a frequent practice developed by professionals who deal with consultancy. However, in Colombia, there are not instruments which allow the appliance of this practice taking the existing models as a point of departure. For this reason, it was designed an instrument for organizational diagnosis. It assesses both facets “soft” and “hard”, identiied in the Multifacetic Analysis and Interdependence Model of Organizational Management developed by Peiró (1999a)). Results showed that this instrument is valid – according to the process developed by expert judges- and consistent: Alpha values ranged between 0,801 and 0,951. This analysis provides a rigorous, valid and consistent instrument to guide diagnosis. Besides, it can be helpful to design appropriate improvement actions, which have an impact on organizations.
