Summary: | Generally, the implementation of Least Significant Bit method on steganography is only by inserting message bits on only one last bit in every single byte on carrier file. It would useable to settle the quality of the carrier file but it would cause the very low ability to hide large message. By modifying four bits of carrier would increase the capacity message to be hidden into the carrier file. In this research, steganography modifying 4-bits LSB was implemented to Bitmap and Wave file as its carrier. The test results proved that this method was successful to hide larger message than only modifying one bit of carrier. The lowest PSNR value was 31.5460 dB from the limit of at least 20 dB for Bitmap carrier while the sound file was 3.8929 dB, it was far from its minimum 30.8047 dB. |
