Summary:E-learning and blended learning have gainedgrowing interest and have become increasingly popular at schools,colleges and universities. However, neither institutions nor lecturersare entirely prepared to apply this new method. The paper presentsresults of an original research concerning blended learning at aprivate-owned college in Wrocław, Poland, Wyższa Szkoła Handlowa(WSH). The research relied on online questionnaires and interviewsand it was designed to identify good and bad practices in order toimprove quality and efficiency of teaching via an e-learning platform.The results discussed herein concern division of a course withinblended learning – a compromise between traditional education and elearningcurricula. The article shows opinions of students and lecturerson which parts of particular subjects should be presented online ortraditionally. It also refers these opinions to the published literatureand to Polish legal provisions. The paper includes conclusions andrecommendations for teachers and teaching institutions
