Description
Summary:Relevance. The study of professional resilience of psychologists as representatives of the helping profession with psychological risks for specialists is presented. The aim of the work is to conduct a comprehensive analysis of professional resilience of a psychologist in the relationship with psychological factors of psychological safety. Research methods. In the study we used the scale of subjective well-being, the methodology for assessing professional resilience, the questionnaire of coping with stress, the assessment of satisfaction with the need for safety, and professional burnout. The target sample of the study included 54 practicing female psychologists aged 27 to 65 years. The results of the study specify professional resilience of a psychologist as a predictor of his/her psychological well-being and at the same time as a protector of professional burnout through productive coping strategies contributing to psychological safety. A high level of professional resilience of psychologists can help them prevent or reduce the risk of professional burnout, ensuring the preservation of energy, motivation and satisfaction in work, and as a consequence, psychological well-being in connection with professional activity.
