Description
Summary:The digitalization of businesses has become commonplace worldwide, driven by the understanding that a business without an online presence risks obsolescence. While larger companies effortlessly embark on digital transformation, small and medium enterprises face financial challenges in ensuring a meticulously designed network that provides optimal protection for their sensitive company data. This project's primary objective is to construct a compact and secure enterprise server to host a business website, incorporating essential security features such as Access Control List (ACL) and Network Address Translation (NAT). Using ACLs and NAT in small enterprises instead of investing in expensive firewalls offers cost-effectiveness and without costly licenses in security implementation. The website will only be accessible to customers, while the organization's IT administrator will possess full control over the network's router configuration and server access. Emphasizing network security, this project aims to safeguard against internal (local network) and external (internet-based) cyber threats, fortifying the designed network.
