Conover is also board president of National Country Market, an advertising co-op owned by electric cooperative member publications, and is active in, and a past president of, the electric cooperatives' Statewide Editors Association (SEA). "Live it, breathe it, love it - it's what she does, and it's evident both in her work and her overall attitude." Since joining AMPI, Schmidt has amassed a long list of accomplishments, including the creation of an awardwinning, electronic newsletter:
