Acylated flavonol glycosides from Eugenia jambolana leaves
Two acylated flavonol glycosides and 15 known polyphenols have been isolated and identified from the leaves of Eugenca jambolana Lam. The structures of the new compounds were identified as 3-O-(4″-O-acetyl)-α-l-rhamnopyranoside of mearnsetin (myricetin 4′-methyl ether) and myricetin 3-O-(4″-O-acetyl...

Summary: | Two acylated flavonol glycosides and 15 known polyphenols have been isolated and identified from the leaves of Eugenca jambolana Lam. The structures of the new compounds were identified as 3-O-(4″-O-acetyl)-α-l-rhamnopyranoside of mearnsetin (myricetin 4′-methyl ether) and myricetin 3-O-(4″-O-acetyl-2″-O-galloyl)-α-l-rhamnopyranoside. The complete structure elucidation of all isolated metabolites based on chemical and spectroscopic methods of analysis (UV, 1D and 2D NMR) as well as negative ESI–MS with and without CID in-source fragmentation.
Two acylated flavonol rhamnosides were isolated and identified from Eugenia jambolana leaves together with 15 other known polyphenolic metabolites. All structures were confirmed using negative ESI–MS, 1D and 2D NMR analyses. |
