Description
Summary:Work injury insurance is considered one of the oldest types of insurance. It aims to provide insurance protection for the worker in the event of injury or illness due to work or during his performance. Since the industrial revolution, the use of machinery and machinery in the industrial field has started, resulting in increased risks to workers during their work such as work injuries and occupational diseases. As a result, international and national action has been initiated to address these risks in order to protect workers who are unable to cope with these risks on their own. The guarantee of work injuries has passed through many stages until it becomes an independent system sponsored by the state and oversees its implementation. Iraq and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan were among the most Arab countries that gave this type of guarantee a great deal of attention. It was stipulated in its social legislation from the beginning of its establishment and to the present time to secure a large segment of the society which is the workers.
