Summary:We report a disseminated histoplasmosis in a Congolese migrant under long-term steroid hormone replacement therapy. Organs involved were the skin, oral and nose mucosae, brain, lungs and colon. Histoplasma capsulatum var capsulatum was detected by histopathology and identified by fungal culture. The outcome was favourable following liposomal amphotericin B then itraconazole.
