type. The Cd atom is surrounded by two thiazole N atoms, two exocyclic S atoms from two bidentate 1,3-benzothiazole-2-thiolate anions and two 1,10-phenanthroline N atoms. The Cd cation is six-coordinate with a distorted octahedral geometry.
