Summary:Pheromone compounds shared between two species of pentatomids from the soybean stink bug complex are reported. Two male-specific compounds (R(t) 27.47 and 29.62 min) were detected in the airbome extract of Piezodorus guildinii by gas chromatography and mass spectrometry analysis. The compounds were identified as methyl 2,6,10-trimethyldodecanoate and methyl 2,6,10-trimethyltridecanoate.
