Summary:In this paper, the design and analysis of an electromagnetic coupled notches loaded rectangular patch antenna has been proposed. The parametric analysis of proposed patch antenna is done by varying the length, width of notches, height (thickness) of dielectric substrate, and dielectric constant. Thereafter, proposed antenna is simulated by considering on body model with and without tumor. Further, the proposed antenna characteristics for simple design, on body model and on body model with tumor are discussed for reflection coefficient and radiation pattern. The antenna characteristics changes when on body model and with tumor is considered. Thus, the designed antenna can be used for medical applications.
