Description
Summary:Filtration processes which accompany the cyclic operation of the oil production well with variable bottom hole pressure are considered. The task is solved in the axis-symmetrical formulation for a layered nonuniform oil reservoir with highly and lowly permeable layers. The distributions of oil saturation are calculated for the stationary and cyclic operation of the well. It is shown that periodical variation of the bottom hole pressure of the production well upon its cyclic operation intensifies the cross-layer flows between the layers in the bottom hole zone, which could enhance oil recovery.
