Description
Summary:This paper presents a part of research conducted in the area Aghireșu, Cluj County, Romania, in 2015 year, regarding the influence of the substrate composition and Disinfection mode upon Pleurotus mushrooms yields. The aim of the research is to determine how the production of mushrooms was influenced by three experimental factors: the biological material - two strains of Pleurotus, two growing media, prepared after two different recipes, and three methods of disinfection of the substrate. The research proved that the best results were achieved by hybrid mushroom HK 35, the method of disinfection of the substrate by chemical treatment with Topsin solution having concentration of 0.1% and organic substrate made of corn cobs and barley grains.
