Summary:	The convergence of several technologies using computer networks is a reality in the society nowadays and the increased use of such networks, being it or wireless, is a fact that is becoming increasingly consolidated. In this regard, it is appropriate to make use of existing network structures in different hospitals and allow Telemedicine and Telehealth applications to function satisfactorily in these environments. However, the structures of existing networks are mostly Ethernet networks that serve well typical applications, but do not meet the requirements for some applications in healthcare, especially those applications that require real-time video broadcast. The purpose of these policies is to ensure the necessary conditions, such as improvements on the characteristics of predictability of the network and decrease in the jitter (the variation of delay of messages), so that telemedicine applications can be used in these computer networks in a satisfactory way.
